Welcome to KUMA 129 — a Japanese social dining restaurant in the heart of Amsterdam, just steps from Leidseplein.
Everything revolves around sharing great food, enjoying quality cocktails and experiencing modern Japanese dining in a stylish, welcoming atmosphere. Inspired by Japan’s vibrant food culture, we created a concept where sushi, streetfood, social dining and atmosphere come together.

Omg, wat was dit LEKKER. We namen the Kuma Experience en dit menu was echt 10/10. De sushi is de lekkerste die ik in tijden heb gehad. Normaal lust ik geen mochi, dat is bij deze veranderd 😍

Eindelijk weer een goed sushi restaurant rondom het Leidseplein. Aanrader: de Double Trouble, Surf and Turf en de Rainbow Roll. De Lychee Martini was verrassend lekker. Ik kom er snel terug.

The bartender was working diligently to get the drinks just right, and it showed. What stood out most was the service — a great meal, definitely worth a visit.
Sushi is top notch. Make sure you order the sushi with the salmon rolled on the sides — I don’t remember the name but I DO remember the taste!!!
Het eten was echt subliem. Ik kon totaal niet met stokjes eten en de bediening heeft de tijd genomen om het me rustig te leren. Gezellig, lekker en hartverwarmend. Arigato Kuma 129!
